it's only been six months since i've blogged, no big deal. i love blogging, but having 3 active little girls takes most of my time, not to mention, cleaning, laundry, cooking, wifing (sp), etc. and don't expect pictures, because those haven't been taken, i've been such a slacker.
where to start...i guess halloween. blair, last minute wanted to be a cat, so i quickly had to whip up a tail, ears, and a skirt, just in time for trick-or-treating. ellie was a chicken, again, i think she just wanted to be warm. rory was a tired little piggy. we had lots of fun and got all too much candy. daddy took ellie and blair around while rory and i stayed at mindy and travis' to hand out candy.
only a week after halloween i ran a half-marathon with cort, devin and a couple of his sisters. i was shooting for under three hours, which isn't fast at all, but ended up doing it in just over 2-1/2. it was a really great accomplishment. i was planning on doing another next month, but other plans have taken over...
for thanksgiving we headed down to utah. it was super fabulous, i got mastitis on the way down...totally awesome, by-the-way, i would recommend everyone get it at least once in their life. i would especially recommend getting it when you only have about 2-3 weeks left nursing and while you're out of town...stellar! other than that, it was great. we got to meet and hold ammon and tru, ty and leah's babies...super cute. i wish i had twins, but i'll keep my girls. and the thanksgiving spread was delicious.
rory had her first birthday, very low key. had the grandparents over and had a little cake and ice cream. she got a few gifts and was pretty good. she learned to walk about a week before her birthday and is a really good little girl. my baby is getting too big. i'm watching her right now and can't really seem to figure out how she's getting so big and smart...all of the girls actually.
christmas was perfect. spent the morning at home with our little family enjoying a few gifts and then headed to my parents for some dinner. we spent most of the day there just enjoying family. it was wonderful.
as for january, what a cold and boring month. it came and went, but i don't know where it went since i can't remember anything from it. i try and just get through it.
february also came and went. i probably slept the whole month away, except for those few days where the pain from my abscess tooth was unbearable...other than that, who knows what we did that month. nothing too exciting except for celebrating love! brent and i made ourselves a fabulous dinner on valentines and enjoyed our girls. oh, i know, ty blessed tru and ammon and it was just wonderful.
march was just here but i can't remember much of it either, i think i slept that whole month too. oh, except for spencer and wendy came to visit for a week. spencer helped brent work and me and wendy got to chat. we ate sushi at amy & jon's and it was pretty good, if i do say so myself. and that's saying alot.
and here we are in april. the weather keeps teasing us. we just want it to get warm and stay warm. the girls love playing outside and i love them playing outside. they seem much more happy when they're not couped up in the house all day.
oh, i almost forgot, but not really...#4 is brewing...3 months now and we're getting pretty excited about it. although it was not quite planned, in fact it's about a year earlier than expected, it's very welcomed. people keep saying they hope it's a boy, but i just hope that he/she is healthy. and i keep thinking, how am i going to squeeze 4 kids into one bedroom? seriously going to take some magic. oh, and if you're reading this, then you're sworn to secrecy. you're not allowed to spread the word.
sorry for the lengthy post, it had to be done. now i can hopefully keep up on it while i'm feeling well. this is the sickest i've ever been...not such a great mom/wife/housekeeper when all i do all day is sleep and puke. but i'm on the up-and-up and feeling pretty good now. in fact, one day blair said to me: "i wish i had a fun mom." from then on i was determined to be a "fun mom" even if these crazy hormones were getting the best of me.
just a little blurp on brent...he's the best hub ever! he works so hard and does so much for our little family. i couldn't have married a better man! love him.
hope to post again soon. xoxo

I think my Jan-March was about the same as yours although no baby was made in my time. Cold and windy winters in Idaho, what else you going to do :) Loved the update!
Congrats on baby #4! That is super exciting. Are you guys going to the reunion this summer? I hope so, I don't think I've met Rory yet!

CONGRATS on #4! You and your family are amazing! I wish we could visit more. Keep being FUN! Kids just say the craziest things sometimes but it is amazing how it motivates us huh!
No worries for not blogging in 6 months. I probably haven't looked at your blog in over a year. Nat, you're a great mom. Keep up the hard work. Oh, and I give you permission to name your boy--it has to be a boy--after me, Danny:)
